At Rockycreek Labradors, we do things with purpose, passion, and a commitment to excellence. Our Co-Owner Mentorship Program is designed for individuals and families who are interested in becoming part of the Rockycreek team as Labrador co-owners while receiving hands-on guidance and support from Kathy Mines of Rockycreek Labradors.
As Kathy often says, “We do it differently.”
This program is not simply about placing a dog in a home. It is about building a partnership, creating shared goals, and helping each co-owner grow in the areas of the Labrador world that inspire them most.
Doing It Differently
At Rockycreek, we believe in doing things with intention. We value education, transparency, teamwork, and long-term relationships. Our goal is to help co-owners feel supported while working toward their own goals and contributing to the continued excellence of Rockycreek Labradors.
This is more than ownership. It is mentorship, partnership, and purpose.
A Partnership Built on Mentorship
The Co-Owner Mentorship Program is a partnership between Kathy Mines and the co-owner. Together, you will discuss your interests, goals, and the direction you would like to take with your Labrador. Whether your dream is to step into the show ring, explore hunt work, learn more about breeding, participate in Rally or Obedience, or simply become more involved with the breed, Kathy provides mentorship and guidance along the way.
Every co-owner’s journey is unique, and this program is designed to support that individuality while staying true to Rockycreek’s standards, values, and dedication to the all-purpose Labrador Retriever.
Areas of Mentorship May Include
Kathy provides guidance in many areas related to Labradors, including:

Our Co-Owner Mentorship Program may be a good fit for those who are eager to learn, willing to be involved, and excited to work as part of a team. We are looking for people who share our love for Labradors, respect the responsibility that comes with ownership, and want to be part of something meaningful.
