What a wonderful way for Polar to retire! We greatly appreciate all the judges, breeders, and exhibitors who supported Polar and helped her achieve all her success throughout her career!
We had a great time at the Welcome to The Potomac Party on Tuesday night, it was great to catch up with old friends and meet many other breeders from around the world to "talk dogs" with them, gaining valuable insight to utilize in our ever improving breeding program!
Wednesday night was the Top 20 Gala - we had so much fun with our dogs while sharing our Circus Dog routines with everyone at the Gala. It was so heart warming and inspiring to see how much our dogs enjoyed showing off their tricks for the audience! We were delighted with how much people enjoyed our Circus Acts and hope we inspired them to have fun training their own dogs. We are proud to have bred three of the top 20 dogs for 2022 while they were also competing for performance titles!

THE BROOD BITCH TROPHY
Mr. & Mrs. Charles Bacon donated the “Brood Bitch Trophy.” The purpose of this trophy is to recognize breeding of merit. This trophy is for Labrador Retriever brood bitch of the year whose progeny completed the most recorded AKC breed Championships during the calendar year of qualification.
Wrigley produced two Champions this year, CH Rockycreek’s Perfect Play JH CD and CH Rockycreek’s Gem Twist SH CGCA CGCU.
Wrigley’s son Legend, GCH CH Rockycreek's Legend At Rockport RN CA DCAT DN CGCA TKA ATT VHMA finished his Championship in 2021 and his Grand in 2022 earning titles while he attained top 20 status in Labradors in 2022!
Top Obedience Trophy went to Excel, CH Rockycreek's The Only Way I Know CD JH CGCA TKI ATT VHMA who will be working on his Senior Hunter title in 2023.

This trophy is offered by the LRCP and awarded annually to an AKC or AKC/ILP registered Labrador Retriever in recognition of accomplishments in the AKC sport of obedience.

The Broad Reach Trophy: Polar, MBISS GCHB CH Rockycreek's Polar Kiss CD RN JH CGCA TKI ATT VHMA
This trophy was donated by Buddy Voshell in 2007 in memory of Martha Lee K. Voshell for the Labrador Retriever that has exhibited the most versatility over it’s lifetime. Martha Lee was well known for her ability to train a dog in several different venues. The Broad Reach Trophy is given with this thought in mind.
